We've known for a long time that our friends the Engstroms have a house on a lake in New Hampshire, and we've known that it's pretty close to heaven, but we finally convinced them to invite us there over the summer. The kids and I flew to Boston from Seattle and then drove an hour and a half to New Hampshire to spend a week with Tommy's ultimate best friend (just last week he identified his rose of the day as the moment he was writing a story about Luke). While we were there, another friend from Oman came up for a day to visit, which was a very fun coincidence! Here are some photos...
